About Suzanne

I’m Suzanne Edge, I’m the portrait and promotions photographer behind EDGE Photography and EDGEshots, based in the North East of Scotland. I’m a mum to two young girls, I juggle each day and night and I’m never happy with my hair.

Known for my online presence and use of social media to promote the business, it’s funny that I can usually be found devouring old fashioned newspapers and magazines. Powerful images can stop you in your tracks, I can stare at them for an age, trying to figure out what’s going on behind the image. That’s why I offer the service that I do, I create images that will help other people sell their products and services, making them stand out and look as good as they can. I also offer local, fun and relaxed family photo sessions, I love it when families come to the studio.

Edge photography has been a success from the first year and people are always asking me how and why I can do what I’m doing – they’re talking about finding time, making contacts, using social media: facebook, twitter, blogging, mailing, networking and PR etc as well as talking about how I’m a mum in business and why I left a career in medicine to do it all…..and then there’s the photography chat!

Through recent collaborations (you may have seen me in the Piper a couple of times!) I came to realise that two, three, four heads are always better than one, so I’m putting it all together here and I hope you’ll join me on my journey and see our businesses grow together.
